Hi guys. Been lurking on this sight now for some time, and i thought it was time to introduce myself. Ive been doing auto detailing for all of my adult life, and even a little before that thanks to my father. My first job out of high school was working for a dealership here in N.E Ohio. I loved everything about it , except for the money. I was getting nowhere fast with my income, so after a couple of years, i was forced to stop detailing full time, and got in with my city doing construction. Ive never stopped detailing on the side, and still remain one-hundred percent passionate about it. Even on lower end cars, ive found myself thirteen, fourteen hours deep because i wasnt happy with results of just a regular detail. One thing, and the biggest thing i found i was doing wrong is my procedures. I always wondered how you guys were busting cars out in four hours, doing four a day. After doing research, i found that every car i ever touched, i was doing a correction. That was a regular detail job in my eyes, and i could never justify how everybody was charging so little, and getting these things out the door so fast. Not to mention, the awesome Flex buffers, and the Porter Cables along with the new pads! My god! I was still using the Dewalt body grinder. And starting off with the wool pads, causing myself so much more work! I was so rapped up in my little cave for those years thinking i knew it all, i missed so much. People love my work around my area, so i thought i was the man when it came to detailing. After a lot of catching up, my passion for this art has become stronger, and i think its time to go into business for myself. I'm going to start off mobile, with a six by twelve trailer to get my name out there. After that is established hopefully within five years, im going to open up a shop, as well as put another truck and trailer on the road. If any of you are familiar with my location, their is a lot of high dollar cities that surround me, and i think the customer base is ripe for the picking. I look forward to sharing this journey with you talented gentleman and hope that through all the questions, agreements, and disagreements, we can all remember that were all here for the same thing. The love of this art that we call detailing. Until we talk again............
