Name something you wish you would’ve bought sooner...

Another vote for the Metro Sidekick...when I saw this sale, I thought I would pull the trigger on it, just to find out that the Sidekick is excluded from any sale codes.
A lot of the good stuff has that problem

Here’s another thing I wish I would’ve bought sooner: These mitts. I’ll give credit to Incredimitt, since I believe they were the 1st ones to offer these, then everyone else suddenly released their blatant copies of this same mitt.

I remember thinking the 1st time I used 1 of these “oh damn, this mitt is crazy”

I agree those are the only good mitts. All the other ones I've tried are to small, only have 1 side ect ect.

The Porter Cable 7424, or as it was introduced to me in 1999, the Meguiar's g100.

It would have been a more practical too for what I was doing then.

Fed Ex just showed up and delivered this package to me.

Perfect timing. I’ve been wanting this for a long time and finally decided to order it a few days ago. 36” crevasse tool w/ detachable brush end. I got this more for cleaning around the house. Reach behind sofa, bed, furniture, etc.

I love it when the manufacturer and/or company selling a product doesn't care enough to properly package the item for shipping. I'm surprised it made it in one piece!!

* ONR - was always nervous until I actually tried it.
* A proper wheel cleaning brush
* IK Foamer
* Quality Microfiber towels

Well this is a great thead Eldo!

The very first thing that came to mind was something I was always scared to use back in the day and that was a machine for polishing. I always tried to do things by hand because I was worried about damaging the paint, so I convinced myself that I couldn't do it and thus wasn't the best I could be. Fast forward to 2010 when I bought my GG6",
everything changed after that!

The next item is the Speed Master wheel brush. You would always read that people were snapping them, so I stayed away. Then I thought about it, if you don't bend it, it shouldn't break and mine hasn't. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you SHOULD!

If I think of something else I'll chime in but inclosing I should tell people that if you haven't tried the spray on, wash away sealants you really need to...NOW!

I think the best thing about the speed master is that it can clean the "barrels" (inside the rim?). Otherwise i just use a tire brush

+1 on this. Coated my wheels, and with this brush I am now obsessed with clean wheel barrels because I can see them with the type of wheels I have.

Wolfgang Uber Rinseless
Griots PFM
Blackfire glass cleaner the old stuff, have not tried the reformulated yet.

More Ammo, I live in CA.

I hear you on this one. The good thing is I have a home in Las Vegas. That being said, I have been loading up for about 2 years just in case something stupid like this would happen. I lived during the 1994 Assault weapon ban and even registered my firearms 2 times. The saying goes California is the Land of Fruits and Nuts! We have a bunch of Screwball Nuts running the State!....LOL

Probably the biggest items were:

1. Flex 3401
2. Menzerna FG400 and SF4000/4500
3. ANY Lake Country PADS

This combo saved me so much time and effort in detailing vehicles. It made detailing easier and seeing the results faster than with other products used. I do, however, still use my PC7424XP as my mini DA.

My tire brush is strictly for scrubbing tires. Different brush for scrubbing the face of the wheels.

I cringe whenever I see someone go from scrubbing the tires straight to scrubbing the wheels with the same brush. That’s 1 of my pet peeves.

How long did you wait? I bought my 1st Hdtv in 2007.

That sucks. Everyone knows Rupes are excluded, but I never knew Metro was too.

Ikr, how come no 1 invited us to the party?

Damn, and I thought I was good at procrastinating... lol.

Which DA polisher would you rank below decent?

Well they’re knock off Incredimitts. Or knock off Gyeon Smoothies.. There’s quite a few different variants of that style of mitt that can be found these days and the difference between them is nominal but there is a slight difference.

It’s basically this mitt. However from the looks of it in the picture it looks identical to the last 2 I purchased elsewhere and they’re just slightly less awesome as the 1st 2 I bought.

Here you can see the slight difference between them [notice the 2 on the left have more blue strands than the 2 on the right]

The 2 on the left perform slightly better as they seem to hold more suds. The difference is nominal but I can tell which mitt I’m washing with when they’re all in my bucket. But I will say that now that they’re broken in [been machine washed a few times] the difference between them gets smaller.

From the looks of them the ones on the right appear to be these exact mitts.

They’re totally worth it. I can tell you without a doubt they’ll blow away those mitts you’re currently using.
