I still use both. I use my towel more because it's faster. But I do like clay for the fact that you can not only feel what is coming off, but see it embedded within the clay.

I have a nano mitt and its just leaps and bounds over the traditional clay bar when it comes to paint decontamination combined with speed. I can clay a mid size car in 15 minutes with the nano mitt. They both accomplish the same but mitt is far faster.

Anytime you touch your car's paint with anything:
there's always the potential for marring...as well as
other blemishes...to occur.

Regardless the claying-tool used...
Whenever I "clay": I always polish!
