Agree.In addition those sponges are a one time use deal.After one car there not as effective and micro grit gets caught in the sponge causing more work and a headache to save a couple bucks.

Thanks for all the suggestions and help. I used them today on a pearl white Kia. I really like them. I did try both, and used ONR mixed to QD for lube. No maring that I saw, and think they did just as good as clay would have in half the time.
Question now. They have dried, should, the rubber be tacky, or did I do something wrong?Thanks

Perhaps my wording was misleading. I did not use Hyper Wash as a dedicated clay lube. I tend to use a small amount of hyperwash in the foam cannon for a thicker foam, and just refoam the car after washing since it doesn't take much to cover a BMW 335i sedan... Doing this has hardly put a dent in my gallon of hyperwash and has proven a faster method for me.
