I'm looking to use a Nanoskin Fine Speedy Prep Sponge to remove some surface contaminants from a brand new windshield that looks like it was left over from delivery. I'm thinking the fine pad should be aggressive enough, but I'm not sure if I should use it with the Nanoskin Shock, Smooth or Glide lubricants. The Shock includes a sealant, but I'm not sure if that would affect the performance of my windshield wipers. Smooth looks like it will work as well, but may not be a slippery as the others. Anyone have any experience cleaning up their windshield with the Nanoskin sponges?

Either lubricant will be sufficient.....I would recommend using medium grade, rather than fine considering the resiliency of glass.

Welcome to AutoGeekOnline!

If using their lubricant for the claying process my choice would be Glide.

I have used the sponge as well as the pads for DA and I am using Meguiar's D155 for lubricant. As Anthony pointed out, I would use the medium grade as well for glass.
