I'm tired of clay. I have a few Hi-Tech foam blocks, but haven't used them much.

My main purpose isn't to necessarily speed up the decontamination process, well it's that too, but to speed up my process as well. I can't make up my mind which would serve me better, the discs or the mitts...I'm leaning towards the mitts.

Do you prefer the towels, wash mitts, or the discs for your DA? Why?

Can't comment on the towels, but I have the Nanoskin block in fine-- Nanoskin Autoscrub Speedy Prep Sponge Combo Pack Using it with UWW+ as lube was a real pleasure compared to clay and very fast as it was easy to just rinse it off with a short blast from the hose after each section. Did the entire car in about 20 minutes and had no marring at all.

I have the mitt and I love it

I have all of them including the disc for the da. I think the sponges are the easiest to use

I'm leaning toward the mitts because it seems so seamless in the washing process.

Do you guys prefer mediums or the fines? I'm talking for daily business use here.

Sure I could buy both right now, but the goal is to first buy the one most people use most often and then buy the other. That way I can put into action right away and have what I need.

Washing with a wash mitt, then grabbing a nanoskin wash mitt while soap is still on the vehicle just seems like a good practical way of cutting down on steps. Then rinse, dry, and start polishing.

Medium grade wash mitt all the way. :dblthumb2:

Why bother with the fine grade when you're going to be polishing the paint anyway?

The fact that I can eliminate a step is what always brings me back to the (Nanoskin) wash mitt.

Exactly the kind of response I was looking for.:dblthumb2:

Now if AG could do a price match for me we're in.

Good point about medium grade Nick. What I want to know is how to tell when they are worn out?
