These were displayed at a local steakhouse in the rafters above the bar. I expressed interest in them years ago. I was quite surprised when I was contacted to pick them up.
I however had no idea that they were this large, over 7'6" each.
We spoke with a bartender who said they had been above the bar since 1998, so they are at least 17yrs old.
They were made by a sign company out of Indiana.
Both are made of thin plastic with a thin metal frame.
The DJ car has folding metal table legs, and is oddly long as the photo shows.
Both have cracks in their plastic bodies.
#40 to the best of my knowledge was last driven by Sterling Marlin.
I don't know what to do with them???
One suggestion was to run them over with my rzr and make a monster truck type video. LOL.
Has anyone seen anything like these before? Any Idea if they have any monetary value?
