Well whereto start, this is my roomates truck that really hasn't been washed or waxed in, well my guess, a year which was the last time i did it for him. He orginally was going to a local place to get one big ass scratch taken out that his ex-girlfriend keyed from the back light to pritty much the front light. I told him to let me try to work with it. So he gave me some money and i spent it on getting some Mez. SIP and FP with some Souveran to get all the imperfections on his truck. I had also asked my cousin (aka Excessive Detail) if he would be able to help me out with the polishing and he did (thanks agin if see this post). The only problem was the Mez. never came in on time, which the forcast predicted rain the next day and this was the only day that he had time for me to detail his truck. luckly my cousin had some Mez. Power Gloss Compound, i think thats what it was, on him and we got some of the imperfections out.

Process:
Wash: 3X wash with Megs. soap and 2 bucket method with uni-mitt.
Wheels: DP wheel gel with EZ bruch.
Clay: Mothers clay with DP Waterless Wash as lube.
Polish:Mez. Power Gloss Compound with 6in. Orange Edge. PB SSR1 with 6in. green Edge pad.
Wax: Pinnicale Souveran
Trim: Pinnicale Souveran
Wheel: ? My cousin did them while i was polishing.

I want thank my cousin agin for helping me out and if it wasn't for him this would have taken alot longer.

Big Difference in B4's and afters!! Was this your first detail or just first AG order? Nice work!

No its not my first detail, im just now realizing the power of Menz. and Pin. from all the post i have been reading and decided to get them. This would be my 5th or 6th order and far from the last one.

Looking forward to more details man! Keep up the good work.

The scratch is still some what there but i told him i would go back over it agin in a week or two using the Menz. i got.

Good work. You brought that a long way back. That truck was terrible especially the tires and wheels. Paint too.

Great detail and awesome work, you done good....X- girlfriends suxs sometimes...LOL!

Looks good, I guess we did a good job, didn't really get to see it after, makes a big difference when you got two people with D/As, kinda noisy. I was impressed with the Power Gloss, dusted like crazy, but I didn't really have to put any pressure on the d/a and didn't have to make really slow passes. It dried kinda fast, but I just kept spraying the pad down with QD and had to clean the pad out every now and then, the ssr1 had a long work time even in the sun, longer than I remebered. I slowly teaching my cousin beavslu01, he seems to be catching on pretty good, I got hooked on AG.

Oh, I wiped the wheels lightly with Megs Hot Shine, I tend to do that on black wheels, seems to make them look real good, and I put the same thing on the tires, had to use alot cause the tires were so dry, still could use some more.
