Nasty Malibu Interior

Great job on the car, and I also like the way you presented your photos.

Wow, impressive job here! What products and equipment did you use here? Same question with lane5515

Did you disconnect the battery before removing the seats? (ie any seat airbags?) cheers..

ps nice job.. what a hole of a motor..

Thanks...I used my meguiars da with the aqua carpet brush and pretreated the areas with some folex. Then i used my brother in laws mytee carpet extractor its an older one but i wanted to try it instead of my bissell lg pro heat. It done a nice job a lot faster than the bissell but i don't have 1000 bucks to invest in one and i can get good results with the bissell as well just takes longer. For the panels and trim i used the vapormore mr100 steamer and used meguiars apc with assorted brushes and stuff for cracks and crevices. I did not disconnect the battery the only thing it has was a height adjust on the drivers seat so i wasn't too worried about anything. I am just curious about how long some ppl think it should take to do an interior like this some ppl say 2 hours some 4 and i understand it depends on the level of quality and no one is the same but it took me around 6-7 hours to do this one. I am ocd real bad but i scrub everything with some sort of brush almost and get in all cracks but i have never had any complaints so i just keep doin what i am doing but i also do it on the side as a hobby not a business. I think interiors take forever i hate doing them.

I had a neighbor approach me last week about doing his Chevy Impala interior, haven't seen him to decline since...........
