Nasty Wheel Barrels, Help Please!

I'd hit the wheel barrels with some filler primer, sand, paint, clear coat, call it good. You might need two or three coats of the primer to fill in all the pits but I wouldn't use a product like bondo- that would be way too much work. A light filler putty might work okay, but really the primer is the best way to go IMO. BTW Duplicolor makes some wheel paints and a clear coat that I've had good results with on my own Mustang.

Having pits in the wheels could unbalance them, also. It's rare that wheels and tires are balanced perfectly without weights.

Okay, all very valid points and greatly appreciated. I'll have to grab some supplies and get at it when I have time. Since it's a daily driver it's hard to find time but I'll get it done.... Thanks guys for all your help, it is greatly appreciated!
