Nebraska Get Together - Be part of the team!

K guys here is the plan of attack so far. We get there Thursday and we are going to be having a meeting with everyone that is involved to work out a schedule and game plan for the detailing days. After we have that meeting I will be posting up the LIVE feed times to the official forum thread (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/57875-official-invitation-mike-phillips-accepted.html).

I am shooting for 4 different times per day (Fri & Sat) for the LIVE feed. The LIVE Feeds will average about 30 to 45 minutes in length. I will be recording these segments and will be uploading them to our youtube channel and will create a playlist so you can watch all the live feeds in one place, and in the order that they were shot.

I will also be monitoring the official thread (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/57875-official-invitation-mike-phillips-accepted.html), Facebook pages and our Twitter feed throughout the days that we are in Lincoln Nebraska. Below you will find all the links to these sites. I am going to be taking pics and posting them as well. Going to be a whirlwind of work but I am going to do my best to make it feel like you all were there helping us out.

Are you allowing casual observers to this one-of, first-time event?

Photographing allowed?

The Nebraska get together was an amazing time. Mike, Yancy, Bruno, and AG really made the event first class.

The forums have taught me so about detailing but getting to learn first hand from Mike was invaluable. In two days I was able to use the PE-14 and learned how to wet sand.

Ben #1 did an awesome paint job on the car. All of us were in awe of his paint knowledge and expertise.

Wes was a great host over the weekend. A special thanks to him for organizing this event and making it happen.

If another opportunity presents itself I highly recommend other forum members to attend.

Hi David,

Thank you for attending this event and taking picture. Yancy and I went through the pictures Yance downloaded to his computer and we both were very impressed with your photography skills.

I'll see Yancy to day and see get a copy of all the pictures so I can start sharing the "action shots".

All I had on my camera were a few pictures and I've already posted most of them here,

Hey Ben it was a pleasure working with you, you're a very hard worker and everyone was impressed with your dedication and passion for the art of polishing paint and I know Ben, as a painter, knows this better than anyone and that is you can have the best paint job in the world but it's the guy who does the wetsanding, cutting and buffing that makes or breaks the paint job.

In fact... I have an article on that...

It's the person that does the wet-sanding, cutting and buffing that makes or breaks the paint job

Good job...

Mike and/or Yancy,

Thanks for offering to post some of the pictures that came out of my stubborn camera. I knew I wouldn't be able to sort out the keepers till next week.

That Wes really knows how to throw a party! Who knew he was such a natural in front of the camera. Really gives the consummate pro, Bruno, a run for his money.

Ben#2 and Paul were real workhorses! I almost felt guilty standing around holding that oh so heavy camera. :)

(Wife, Peggy, and I had a good laugh with the signed copy of your book. Finally reaping the reward of my hobby, she scores an autograph. Thanks) :xyxthumbs:
