I've been using Opti-Bond both as gel and diluted 1:1 with a small hand sprayer. I would guess spraying the 1:1 with the air compressor sprayer would work better, but shaking it up and using the small pump sprayer worked. Satin finish, with a new rubber look. After 2 applications it lasted 2-3 car washes between applications but we see very little rain in SoCal.
I picked up 303 protectant recently and used it on a couple of cars (interior, black trim, rubber and trim). It is a spray on product. This is great stuff and I waited too long to try it. I don't know how long it will last on tires but a single coat has a dark, satin finish. Supposedly, multiple coats increase gloss although one was good for me.
I really want to try the new DP Gloss Tire Gel as Old Tiger thinks it's the cats meow (tiger growl?) and CEEDOG did a nice comparison to several products making it sound great. Downside, it is a gel.
I also used OGERV and Megs #40 which are both spray on products over the years. Both feel a bit greasy during application to me. ERV does not turn tires brown over time, but it's not a AG product. Megs 40 has some cleaning ability if you need to clean rubber and trim, plus protect. It's been years since I used it on tires.
