Need a good wash reccomendation

hey guys i feel the need to try something new for a car wash. i currently use zymol and am pleased with it. ive used duragloss 901 and like it but i cant stand the smell of it lol. so what other good washes u guys reccomend? i thought about pinnacle or wofgang due to the bogo or maybe ultima or poorbys super slick thanks guys
 
I've been using Mr. Pink by Chemical Guys (smells great too) and Pinnacle Auto Shampoo, really like it as well. Honey Dew by Chemical Guys works great as well.
 
Hmmm. Never tried any chemical guys stuff. pinnacle is good but pricey even with bogo and im not sure it will clean it wel enough. my wife drives and hour each way to work and sometime the ride get pretty dirty.
 
+1 on Chemical Guys HoneyDew, great lubricity and smells GREAT!! :dblthumb2:
 
Optimum Shampoo is pretty good in terms of both cleaning power and price.
 
I had a similar thread as well. I ended up buying the Optimum Car Wash. It seems like that, CG Citrus and CG Honeydew are all great washes and great value.

seems like alot mentions of was and gloss on there... may have to try that one out and see how it goes :). i dont use a foam gun so i think honeydew really wouldnt help me out.

The Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo dilutes 1oz./gl. This makes it cheaper than DG901. I love the wash offering from Pinnacle. Smells great and works great......
 
Optimum Car Wash. It has a nice blueberries smell to it.

Well i dont want anything that will strip. i may try the pinnacle bogo and get some paintwork cleanser and car wash. also may try optimum :)
 
Ultima Paint Guard Wash. Buy the gallon, you won't be disappointed...

I used this stuff for the first time today... And I'm thinking... When have I used this stuff before ??? Then I got it.

It says on the ag website product page it preps/cleans the car to give a wax/sealant ready surface. To me that's still a shampoo, at recommended dilution, that isn't wax/sealant safe. But thank you for the info!

From the product description:

Add 1 cap full with 4-5 gallons of water for a superior wash.

As a paintwork cleanser dilute 1 oz with 1 gallon water for superior surface cleaner to remove built up grime and wax.

You use what you wish. I personally use Citrus Wash & Gloss on a daily basis in my shop without issue.
 
I just read the bold description under the title saying its the ultimate surface prepping paintwork cleanser
