Need a little help

Hi guys, i will be detailing my truck this weekend, but need a little help with Paint correction. I have been playing with My DA polisher and M105 & M205 on the trunk of my Camry "Kinda of a Gray color with a light dark tint to it." I did notice some improvements in the area i worked on, but the sun went away and lighting was an issue so i stopped. i know this is kinda of a stupid question but how can i find defects easy when working on the Shade? the paint on this car makes it hard to see swirls, but when in direct sunlight i can see them. also i have been reading about this IPA with alcohol, Do i really need it or can i just wash the car again. or is it something that i need to use to inspect my work as i go?

Hey guy well as for working in shaded or low light areas you should get a work light tripod preferably so you can set it to deferent angles to get the best light reflections but as you said nothing compares to sunlight for exposing all :eek: and yes the Isopropyl alcohol is to be used for inspection of your correction work here's the link for properly mixing and other info http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...ow-mix-ipa-inspecting-correction-results.html
