Need A Spray Wax...Any Recommendations?

I've gotten excellent results with Quick-n-Slick from CroftgateUSA.
It's a synthetic polymer product. Very easy to use. Not cheap, but a little goes a long way.

At $30 a quart + shipping it had better spray itself on and wipe itself off.

If you are actually wanting a true wax then Optimum is very hard to beat. For a sealant Aquawax is the way to go. Both look fantastic with the warm glow going to Optimum.

I've only tried OCW and AQW spray waxes at this point.

I am a huge fan of OCW and have used it for about 9 months. I recently tried AQW for comparison. I think OCW adds a little more clarity, liquidity and sparkle versus AQW. I first used it as a topper over WGDGPS. It was spectacular with my in-laws metallic silver Maxima where the fleck had an incredible pop. I set up one of our friends with OCW for her Charcoal C-class Mercedes and it has a nice clean, wet look with a bit of depth. It's not Fuzion, but it's still pretty amazing stuff.

Good luck.

CG Blitz! spray sealant (longevity of a wax w/ ridiculous reflection properties)
CG Express Carnauba - Quick & easy wet shine

I use both of these on a regular basis w/ absolutely beautiful results.

Just bringing experience with other products to the table here ....... :dblthumb2:

Pinnacle SSW is probley one of the best looking and easiest spray waxes I have used to date.I thought I was a big fan of OCW.I'm liking Pinnacle SSW more everytime I use it.

Does the Pinnacle last as long as OCW?

no .. Optimum lasts longer. With Pinnacle there is no appreciable buffing, just spritz buff and rewipe only as needed. (it essentially disappears with initial buff). With Optimum you will spritz, buff in, and buff off. They are slightly different in application but both quite pleasing in looks. I find Pinnacle a bit faster and thus grab it more often after each and every wash and seems to work equally well on damp paint.

Optimum spray wax and dg aquawax. Opt lasts a lot longer

I haven't been impressed with Aquawax except for using it on exterior trim (which isn't what I got it for). I've used it while after washing while drying and with dry paint and it just doesn't seem to leave any lasting protection behind. It lasts for months though on the plastic exterior trim on my car and doesn't drip down the paint when it rains. Really wish I would've bought Optimum car wax instead of Aquawax.

Two spray waxes that I use and highly recommend are;

  • Optimum Spray Wax
  • Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax
Both work great and are easy to use, :props:

I absolutely agree with your Pinnacle recommendation :xyxthumbs:

It's not too late, or should I say it's not to early to get OOC. Just use the AW for door jams, under the hood and trunk jams.

I have tried quite a few spray waxes. Pinnacle,Optimum, to name a couple. My favirite to date is Griot's Garage Spray Wax. While the vehicle is wet spray it on then dry.It leaves a Beautiful wet look smooth finish!

I use AW as a "booster" wax, after each wash or so. I use it over Collinite, usually, which is the LSP I get my durability from. The environmental elements and the next wash degrade the AW - not the Collinite. And the AW keeps the surface looking great in the meantime.
