Need advice on garage scuffs

Well, I went through the entire process that I outlined and wouldn't you know it, it took the last option. Yellow pad, aggressive compound. Wife thinks I'm a hero, so it was worth it. Thanks guys for your help!

I knew it :)
Good job!

Here's another tip, fellas...paint the bottom of the garage door her car color too. You know, for when she doesn't pull all the way in and hits the closer going into the house.

Glad your plan worked! I do want to say do not come down too hard on the mrs... guys make the same mistakes too...

Two years ago I was working on one car and had to move it out of the garage, no issues... and get my garage queen Red Convert back into the garage.

I did the same thing but far worse, the aluminum trim around the garage door scraped the bumper cover and front right fender. Luckily I have clear bra so that got all torn up.
Bumper cover needed a respray, and clear bra needed to be re-applied. I'm glad I had the clear bra because on the fender it was the sacrificial barrier and the paint underneath was fine.

Car is all better now... but it just goes to show, when your tired, and not paying attention, anything can happen to anyone.
