Last week i bought myself a Peugeot 106 Rallye (a soon to be track-toy) The car is finished in a single stage blue paint called Blue Santorin.
The previous owner resprayed the car in 2001 and the paint is in reasonably good shape. However a lot of swirls are present and i want to get rid of as many of them as possible.
Some paint chips and scratches will be fixed by a professional painter before i do anything.

What should i get to refurb my "not so old" paint and keep it shiny?
Was thinking 360 and the XMT swirl removers. Good on single stage paint, or would something like Poorboys be a better choice?
Maybe some kind of paint cleaner to get any old soap off the paint? Degreaser?

A rundown of how you would attack an old car that probably has not seen any polish or wax since the respray in 2001 would be very helpful.
And of course which products you would use. I am not so sure as to how i should go about this.

Here is a picture of the car so you know what kind of color i will be using the products on.

I really like XMT polishes, and I will tell you XMT 360 is a must. Depending on paint condition you might wanna get XMT 1,2,3.

Menzerna polishes are also very nice, with PO106FF the best all around polish.

XMT series is great with the DA polisher, the Menzerna works also with DA, but its quicker with a rotary. the 106FF is good on swirls as long as its not too bad. APO 60 is also a good choice, if the car was repainted just a few years ago, and just have some light swirls, i was impressed with how much paint correction the XMT 1 did.

As a good paint cleaner i swear by DuraGloss 101, that also makes those blues, blacks and reds nice`n dark. add some Pinnacle Liquid Souveran and you start winning before the races too;)

Nice car by the way, i was extremly close buying a 106 some years ago.

Got some more pics of the car?

Thanks guys. I've got some LS and DG101/105 and i'm set on wash products.
So 360, XMT 1-2-3-4, a UDM Pro kit, and maybe some Menzerna would do the trick.

In what order do i use all this great stuff?
DG101 to clean, XMT1-4 to correct swirls, 360, 105 to seal and some LS on top?
Or is that overdoing it?

The car is as close to a gocart with a roof that i have been able to find.
Of course you can get a Lotus Exige or an Ariel Atom, but not on my budget. ;)
