I own a white 2006 Subaru STi. It currently has a catless exhaust on it which leaves black carbon on the rear bumper. After I clean the carbon off there is still some yellow spots left over and its very hard to get rid of. I tried clay bar which didn't work, Also I tried Power Clean it helped but didn't remove it completely. I was wondering if you guys have any ideas on what product to use to remove those yellow spots. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

I wonder if it is melting the bumper or somehow altering the color of the paint with the high temps from the exhaust. I have seen a bumper literally catch fire on a boosted 240SX with a catless system.

Have you tried compounding with a DA or a rotary?

I tried it with the DA it seems to be doing the job but its really hard to get into that spot, I think I might I need to find a smaller one.
