Ok,

Here's my ride. It's medium dark grey metalic Ford Fusion 1.4/80HP . Ford names that colour "sea gray".
On picture you can see washed (Megs GC shampoo&cond.) and partly dried back of my car.

I'd like to order few things on AG to make my car bright and glossy but there are so many products so I can't decide.
I have Meguiar's GC shampoo and Wax (paste) also. Unfortunately I can't afford for stuff like Pinnacle Souveran :( but let's say that I can spend about 50$.
The paint is in good condition (the car is 5 months old) and I didn't notice any swirls or schratches. Definitely need to be claying.
So what should I buy? Which clay (I'm thinkin' about Meguiars)? Any paint cleaner? Polish? Sealant?

Please help me spend those few dollars :)

Thanx.

Mothers California Gold Clay Bar -Mothers Clay Bar is a synthetic clay. This synthetic clay bar is a moldable compound that grabs tiny contaminants ashttp://www.autogeek.net/motcalgolcla.html

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant creates a vivid, multi-dimensional shine that far exceeds the capabilities of ordinary sealants
12.99 (on sale)

Since I am assuming you don't have a Porter Cable, removing any marring will be superman's work. So I recommended you the Mother's clay kit, because it comes with lube and is cheap. A Guzzler drying towel, because MOST marring occurs while drying, so this will minimize the marring until you can remove them. Wolfgang spritz sealant, it makes a color like yours "pop", while giving good protection for a up to a couple months depending on conditions. Good luck and hopefully it works out!

I think Poorboy's Natty Blue is a great wax for the money and should look good on that color.

Can I use Klasse AIO then Klasse High gloss sealant and Meguiars Gold class paste wax as LSP ?

DP premium paint sealant topped with PB natty wax is a good combo and would be under 50. Or check out the duragloss line that is priced well and protects real good (DG105 and DG aqua wax). Mike...

If you can't afford Paste Souveran($80), you could still try Liquid Souveran ($30). It's the best liquid carnauba wax you can buy. Mother's clay, Meguiar's are inexpensive and can do a fine job.

Now that you see the choices that come quick, heres my opinion:

You have a shampoo and a finish wax that will work until you want better

The Klasse twins will work under the Megs GC but they are a tad expensive.

You will need clay, the Mothers California Gold kit mentioned above works OK and comes with lube or you might try the DP clay with some 4n1 for lube from AG

Since you do not have a PC machine you might look for a glaze (see current post in forum) to cover any swirls that do occur and they will work under the Megs GC. They can also be applied by hand.

And as Abrcrombe states above, most of your new swirls and such come during washing you might get some good washing tools and MF towels. A medium guzzler and a schmitt work well and are not to expensive.

You should be able to do this within your budget, your car will be slick, showing minimal swirls, protected with a decent shine and you will be able to maintain it until you decide you want more. Not necessarily the best of anything but a balanced plan for your budget.

Welcome to the asylum

Thanx,

I think that Klasse twins and Mother's claying set will be good choice.
What do you prefer for vinyls and tires ?
