Need an opinion on spray wax

If your looking for protection then sonax brilliant shine detailer is your choice. I have yet to find a spray wax/sealant that last longer. I have compared it to DG Aqua wax, Megs D156, pinnacle spray wax, dodo juice tropical red mist, Optimum car wax, and Ultima Paint gaurd plus

I used to use the UQW back in the day and it was a fine product. I actually was not a fan of Souveran Spray Wax at all.

With that said, having tried the new BlackFire Spray wax, it would be my favorite. Its much more substantial in viscosity vs those other two. It also contains carnauba (its in the title). I cannot imagine anyone who uses it would be dissapointed with it.

BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Spray Wax, spray car wax, aerosol wax

+1 - used all those you name, UQW, gold class, Pin Sov spray and BFMSSW - blackfire is by far my favorite. To me, aside from the protection and shine, it gives a streak free application. It "flashes" as it melts into the finish and you never see leftover spots if you don't buff fully. This is huge for me as I do this a lot at night after the kiddies go to bed when lighting isn't optimal.

I've just started using the black fire waterless wash and topping it off with megs uqw. I've been thinking about getting the BF spray wax. Is It ok to use the waterless wash with the sealant in it and top it off with the BF spray wax and repeat? Isn't it bad to layer sealant wax sealant wax over and over?

I have good luck with Optimum spray and XMT`s new spray wax...

It's 100% fine to do so. Being that the BF spray wax uses the same sealant polymers as the waterless it will function well together.

Never mind I just reread the product description and saw it has the polymer sealant mixed in.

there is also gold class spray wax, which i think is real wax. i wonder if it comes in gallon form

That is a product you don't heat much about, but it is very nice! I got some of it in one of Meg's Christmas gift sets, and I really like it. It leaves a very nice finish! I have another bottle of it that I haven't used yet,but I will someday.

If it matters if it's synthetic or carnauba: For synthetic I like Aquawax (which to me looks like a carnauba finish), and for carnauba I just picked up a new beat up bottle of Surf City spray wax for $3.00, and I really like it a lot - It sprays out thick but wipes out very nicely. I prefer both over UQW but I haven't tried BlackFire.

Why not use Optimum Car Wax as a standalone base...and top it with D156 on the hot days when you can't use Optimum Car Wax.
