I have my basket ready just need to put in aluminum polish. I have a set of Weld Racing RT-S Billet Aluminum wheels. They are a little oxidized and some fine swirls. So I just need a good "fine" polish but dont want to spend a fortune on a highend name brand if not needed.

I used Mothers Billet polish last year and it worked but was VERY messy. Looking for something better.

Any advice??

Polishing aluminum is always a messy process...no matter the brand of polish...IMHO.

Stay with the Mother's Billet polish:
It is the best product for your task!

Nice wheels!
I've heard nothing but good things about mothers billet so stick with that and see what kind of results you get.

Maybe the sloppiness is from your technique.

Try applying with a nitrile glove - no applicator. Polish back and forth with the glove.

Wipe the residue with a quality microfiber, turning it to a clean spot frequently.

Don't rub. Wipe.

If you just have a dullness and very light marring, this will give you the best finish.

Try a small area and see how it looks.

Thank you.

Forrest..I will give that method a try.

Whats best MF towel for use with the Billet aluminum polish?
