If you really want the BEST, and money is no object,. I suggest Swissvax Crystal Rock, at $1100 per container. I think you get 50-60 applications per container, which would bring your cost to around $10 per coat. It lends tremendous clarity and depth of color, as well as a sparkling shine and outstanding protection. However, I think what you really want to know is, "what is the best wax for my overall situation?"
Pinnacle Souveran looks tremendous on black, with great depth of color and clarity, with a sparkling shine, but doesn't last but a few weeks, so it doesn't protect. On the other end of the spectrum is Collinite 476, which lasts 12 months maybe, and looks great, but not the absolute best.
If this car is going to be on the street a lot, I would suggest Wolfgang Fuzion, because it has a rich, sparkling shine, with a few months protection, AND has anti-static properties, which other waxes DON"T have. This will have your car repelling contaminants better, not letting them stick to your paint as much, thus not letting them sink into the paint as much when the heat of the sun is on the car, which softens the paint, and allows particles of dirt to sink all the way to the bare metal, which, a couple months after being washed off, leavers tiny little rust spots, because there are now pinholes in the paint and primer. Because of this, never leave a dirty car in the hot sun.
Wolfgang Fuzion looks great, offers a slick surface and keeps your car looking cleaner longer,so there is less maintenance for you. Now is the time to buy, because at autogeek it's 50% off.
You might want to consider a sealant, topped with a wax, which will give you better protection than a wax alone, with the richness of a carnauba. Wolfgang's Deep gloss paint sealant 3.0 looks much like a carnauba, with the slickness of a sealant. Waxes tend to attract dust in general. Sealants tend to leave a slick surface generally.
