Need coating suggestion to amplify white paint

I think, since ive already spent the money on Can coat, ill go that route and either get the Cure or ceramic detailer. Should let me use the same process for multiple cars.

Cure and Ceramic Detailer are not easy to apply and get good results. I'm not convinced Ceramic Detailer isn't a diluted version of Cure. I had to dilute Cure 50/50 to keep if from having streaks. Even then it took work to get a good finish. Ceramic Detailer wasn't much easier.

I'd go with some of the recommendations already posted here. Currently, I'm using ADS Amplify on multiple different coatings and it works great on all of them. ECH20 (at 20:1) and Griots Garage Ceramic Speed Shine work well for me too. I'd choose any of them over the Gyeon products.

I have amplify and I think it is really good, it just doesnt .. pop the same way 1 or 2 other things ive tried have (one example being BC3, makes the car look like glass., but it smells like nothing and isnt my favorite user experience)

I've had excellent luck with Cure, found it pretty easy to work with. Ceramic Detailer on the other hand was absolutely terrible.

I've found theme with white paint is that it tends to pop better with polymer sealants/wax compared to Si02 products. That's one of the reasons why I highlighted Slick & Slide, and why you have enjoyed the (short lived) look of Bead Maker.

Whats the difference between cure and their ceramic detail spray? I figure Can coat followed ceramic detail or cure, should give me gloss and slickness.

Cure is more substantial and will last longer. Think of Ceramic Detailer as a thinner/watered down version of Cure and similar in concept to ADS Amplify or Carpro EliXir.

I really didn't like Ceramic Detailer, it required a very specific application technique that was more trouble than it was worth. I never bothered to replace it.

Cure is similar to Capro Reload in consistency, colour and how it smells (chemical aroma, not scent). I've used it as a top layer Can Coat EVO and Pure EVO and have found it plays well when used on Gyeon coatings, go figure. The key is to use it sparingly, you don't need to use a lot of it.

As for Can Coat EVO, I'm a big fan of it. Application is super forgiving, in fact I haven't noticed the streaking issue mentioned earlier. As others noted, specifically Guz, you only need one to two sprays per panel, so you use waaay less than expected. Even with that in mind, I got 15-months out of it parked outdoors 24/7.

PS if you have suggestions for a high gloss topper .... Ive tried P&S beadmaker and its fine, but id like something that lasts at least a month.

If you don’t mind spending some dough Polish Angel Gold Zirkon, High Gloss or white Alabaster. All work well with ceramics.

I do feel they look great with coatings but they are 3 to 5 times the price of other products and you will get less.

For me though the user experience and perceived added gloss is worth it. Small battle will last you 2-3 years

I was going to suggest that too, but I know most here wouldn't buy from that store. Hence the Slick and Slide recommendation.
Yeah I saw you trying to be suttle about it.

I'm sure its a good product, just like Clean by Pan, but gosh, I dislike the personalities behind both and hate the thought of my money going to them.

I actually have slick and slide, i get the mystery box from Adams every Christmas, Is it actually good?

I ended up buying CSL. I know its not the best coating on the market, but from what ive seen, it should last 2 years at least, and there is enough info out there that application should be a known factor. Also, I figure the topper will decide what the final appearance is. I am tempted to order Exo v5 for the top coat, but might save my wallet. Going to detail a friend of mines audi wagon, and part of that is him buying some supplies for me as a trade for the labor. Might get the C0.02 then. Cover his car, my other car, and my fiance's car. Use the Can coat for wheels and such.

Put Exo if you like hydrophobic’s. CSL is meh in that department.
Hmm, I plan to use Amplify as my drying aid, I wonder if that will provide the Water behavior that I want. Hate to spend another 70 bucks to top it.

I would recommend you invest in Exo. Amplify does not last long on top of a coating especially when used as a drying aid.

If you like that wax-like look and feel, Slick & Slide is a very nice product. Smells lovely too.

100% agreed regarding slick & slide on white paint. Provides a much deeper gloss vs a ceramic-based product.
