Need Feedback For Exterior Detail Process and Products

Hey Yall, been detailing my own vehicals as long as I can remeber with Auto Zone/Walmart Products. I have seen the light and need feed back on the products and process I have outlined. Unfourtunatly all tasks will be completed by Hand.


2010 F-150 Ignot Silver

Step 1 Wash Using two bucket Method

Step 3 Quick dry using Microfiber Towl

Step 3 Clay Bar (Need Product Suggestion) with Meguiars Quick Detailer

Step 4 Rinse

Setp 5 Apply and remove Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion

Step 6 Apply and Remove Collinite 845

Step 7 Spot Detail if needed with Meguiars quick detailer

Too Much? Too Little? What do the pros have to say?
 
Your plan will work. If you are sticking with WalMart or AZ products, the Megs or Mothers Clay kit are OK. You probably don't need the Step 4 Rinse.

I would at least polish the paint after clay, but before the lotion, that is if you want a almost scratch free finish. The Meg's clay kit at AZ has everything you need and good priced.. Hope this helps.:)
 
Thanks Yall! Just waiting for the Collinite 835 to come in.
 
you can wash, dry, paint cleanse and seal.
make sure you clean your pad often.
