Need Help! Decal Sticker Removed Now Green Glow!

I was from westchester county before I moved to south fla.its 35 minutes north of nyc.new Rochelle ,white plains Scarsdale and tarrytown. If you took the tappan zee bridge you would run right thru tarrytown after the toll.I miss it there but not the weather.all my family lives in mahopac which is 30 min north of westchester county.

I'm familiar with the area (a little). I used to go up to the Westchester County Center in White Plains. You know the Tappan Zee is not long for this world?

You lost me somewhere. You went through all that to debadge it, just to have new emblems put on? Why?

I switched the GM gold bow ties to black bow ties, removed the Silverado emblems and replaced with GM OEM Z71 emblems and then removed the stickers. It's my truck and what I want to do to it.

Oh, I didn't understand you were putting different emblems on. Most people who debadge don't want emblems at all (or that's what I thought...I've never debadged anything on purpose...I'd never be able to remember what kind of car I drive).

So you don't have a Z71 but you're putting the emblems on? This just reminded me of when I was a kid and my mother got a GM car that was a special model like that and they had an emblem on the trunk with one of the order codes (Z71 is an RPO code), and the dealer took it off to put their stupid dealer emblem on. I remember being so incensed, I pulled the dealer emblem off and had to order the factory emblem and reapply it. Like my mother cared.

Chevy made the Midnight Edition for Silverados and charge $1,050-$3,625. I purchased a Silverado being a non-Midnight Edition. For less than $600 I can make my Silverado into the Midnight myself, so that is the motivation.

I just got the truck from the carwash and the green glow is almost gone already.
