Need help finding new compound/polish/wax removal MF...

So I recently found out about Microfiber Tech. They have KILLER prices.. Problem is that after washing my MF's bought form AG.com ( I bought the special purchase MFs from here ) they are sTILL linting, and its annoying..

So I wanted to order a few dozen with a buddy, I just need to get a towel for compound removal, polish and wax removal too.

I dont know which gsm to look for.. Size, Id like to be 16x16.

Im going to get their waffle weave for drying, and costco's for general use.

The 530's are probably the best MFTECH towel for polish removal.
AG 600's are excellent too, but there's a bit of a price difference. Can't go wrong with either.
 
You're asking about purchasing MF towels from MicrofiberTech or AG?
 
MFT, I cant justify the price I spent last time at AG... If they had a BOGO okay, but the price clearly drives the MFT opti on.

I did PM a few guys on which ones to choose, but I figured Id post it for anyone else that was wondering as well.
 
Are you drying your towels on low heat?

Linting was a problem I had when I left them in the dryer too long and on normal heat setting. Now, 15 minutes max on low heat setting - no lint problems.

I also, add a couple of oz's white vinegar to the final rinse to bring back some of the softness...
 
I do low heat/delicates but the whole run time. Maybe I have to do like you. Hit them for 15 mins and thats it.
 
As for polishing towels from MFT, try these:

Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Towel 16''x16'' 350 gsm

or

16''x16'' Elite Microfiber Detailing Towel - 360 gsm - 75.25

When it comes to removeing polishes, sealants, & waxes they're easily removed with the short pile of the towel...
 
Alright, I was under the impression that the towel had to be pretty short pile to get a good :bite:

edited: They are pretty tightly weaved...

try the rag company eagle MF. Borderless and dirt cheap. I would put it up against a Zaino Blonde any day
 
Yeah but that 5.95 a towel is hard to swallow haha. I like to have 15-20 on hand. I ahve a big f250 and I go thru some towels when Im doing compounding/waxing in the same day...
 
The edgeless 350gsm are ones I'll be ordering as soon as 530s are in stock...

Yeah but the boa is 6$ a pop... I think I've been spoiled with the cheap 2-3 dollar MFT towels haha
 
Also, I like the towels that have the same pile on both sides... I'm having a hard time finding that
 
Cheap towels are good for a lot of things but if you are looking for real quality you get what you pay for.

I have been tempted to get some myself really... but canadian shipping IS NUTS.

I almost fell out of my chair! I thought that exact thing too!

I'm using the 530 dual pile and edgless from MFT, can't go wrong with either, they are great towels!
