Greetings everyone, I am in need for a Detailer in the Parkton, MD area. I have a guy that needs some professional help cleaning the Alcantara seats in his Porsche Boxster Speedster. Do we have anyone in the area that has experience working with Alcantara?

Wish I could help out but I don't have experience with these type of seats. Are they bad off?

I am not sure how bad the seats are. Probably nothing too major. It was a friend of a friend of a friend kinda thing and I have never seen the car in person.

Is there any special way to clean these Alcantara seats? Or will just OPC work?

Definitely not APC. The best way to clean them is with a damp terry towel. Any stains should be spot treated. Ethyl alcohol is recommended to spot treat. Alcantara is synthetic suede.

If you've cleaned Ultra-suede seats, then chances are that you've cleand this material which is 68% polyester/32% polyurethane.

When used in association with leather, higher end manufacturers use non coated leather.
Mid to upper level RV manufacturers use Ultra leather (manmade) when used on the same seating sufaces.

Thanks! What would you use to spot clean it?

Do you guys know anything about dc5 recaro seats? My friend has them and wanted to know how to clean them. Are they suede or velour?
