Ok guys Ive got a 2001 mustang Gt and ive sourced some used cobra seats, They are a little rough, im getting the the drivers seat re dyed and touched up but they were free so i cant complain, anyway they are leather with suede inserts but im pretty sure ford used some kind of fake suede...

this is what they look like

So the "suede" is starting to pill/pile whatever you want to call it, i know i can sand that off. But how to approach the stain. I work at a detail shop so i have many products at my disposal. So im asking you guys would say using an optima steamer on it be the best way? using an aerosol stain remover be better? we you anything you can imagine and if we don't have it we can order it so whatever it takes let me know. I appreciate everyone's input in advance!!!

use folex or a dedicated fabric cleaner spray some on a microfiber towel try blotting the stains up if that don't work use a brush and gently agitate the stain if that don't work use a scrub pad lightly now if there is a lot of stains yes you can use a steam cleaner with microfiber towel wrap around it to speed up the process then just vacuum the pile of the suede back up but don't let the nozzle touch the fabric

Thank you! i know that steamer can work wonder sometimes, just wanting to get as many opinions as i can. :)

Have to agree with "jamesboyy".

If at all possible, try anything on as an inconspicuous area you can first.
