So im about 90% done with my website. I was working on it for about a month but then decided to scrap what i had and start from scratch.

Id like to get some opinions on it and some constructive criticism.

***NOTE: I have a logo being made so ignore that, my domain name is in limbo and im waiting to hear back from the site i bought my domain name from on mon. I cant create a business email till i get the domain name and i have a 1800 number that i need to work some issues out with.

Other then that let me know what you guys think so far. Also look for spelling errors. Wix doesnt have a spell check and im terrible at spelling so im sure there are some.

I like the site, it's easy to navigate. It might be a bit simple looking, but everything's easy to access. Way too many people try to have some uber high end looking site. But most end up being way too busy. Not sure what Wix is, but if you can edit the HTML online use Chrome, it has a spell checker built in.

And this isn't a knock on you, but are the prices for the packages accurate? I detail in my area and if I could get $50 for a basic wash I would be in Heaven. Around here, I think a good detailer would realistically have to charge less than your 01 package for what you offer in the 02 one. We have a crazy number of mobile details out here though. Hummm, maybe I need to move to Reno :)

I like that you have logos for all the companies products you use. One thing I might change would be to make the image slideshow on the main page user controllable. Some people like to pause pics get a better look. There are a thousand different free image slideshow CSS's out there. I use Cute Slider on mine, it's not free but it's pretty cheap and has some killer 2d/3d effects. Used correctly imho some nice image effects can really make a site pop, without being gaudy.

The pricing was the hardest part of the site. Frankly I have no idea if my prices are accurate. There are only 2 credible mobile detailers out here (one of which is endorsed by Renny Doyle... great...lol) and they dont list their prices. There are some guys on craiglist so i kinda based my prices off theirs but even then im kinda lost. But at the same time if some one just wanted a simple wash like what i have listed i dont think i would go out for anything less then $50. To me the time and gas it would take just doesnt seem profitable. Thats just my opinion though. Thanks for the imput! :)

I changed something on the site but it wont let me edit my original post up top here.

It looks good but get your own domain name and web hosting. You should be able to get that for about $100.

Yeah i bought my domain name but it went un used for a few months so the company put it in this like limbo state where its an already owned domain name but no one owns it. So monday the company is supposed to call me and find a resolution.

Congrats and good luck w/the Business. Here is my free advice (worth every penny)

I like the simple and clean look
Consider showcasing a Why No Limits explanation that describes your value proposition to the market. Make it genuine and use clear language.

- Do you
- Consult with the customer to determine exactly what their needs and requirements are?
- Treat every car as if it were your own, or your mothers?
- Have a way to describe your experience not just in years, but in terms of what value that experience has for your customers?

Just my $0.02

BTW - just curious on the 800#. If its not a easy to remember number then why even bother? Also, you can use something like google voice to front end it or evoice for a professional answering system.

Thank you. I'll have to consider that. The site still needs a little work. I need to add another tab that lists paint corrections, engine detailing and the like.

My parents own a company that certifies crane operators throughout the United states and they had a couple 1800 numbers that they dont use. So they gave me one and it goes to my cellphone. I just gotta iron out some issues with the voicemail and then it will be done. Beats getting a second phone. My number is a southern ca area code so I don't want to throw ppl off.
