Need opinions on this strategy.

Ok, looking for a good wax and detailer combination to use. I'm coming from tech wax (too streaky for me) and Meguiars Gold Class carnauba wax with Mothers Showtime quick detailer and I'm starting to see that I may not be using the best of the best lol.

From what I've been reading from the past few weeks, Collinite 476 with Finish Kare 425 as a detailer may be a better combination. Is this an ok combination in your guy's opinion?

I haven't used the collinite 476, but I have used the finish Kare 425 and it's wonderful. Don't use the FK425 on glass.

I like 476s. You will be hard pressed to find anyone who has used it put a bad word against it. It is competent.

Collinite all day long.
 
Mother's Showtime Quick Detailer is a top notch product. Where do you read that Mothers and the Meguiars carnauba wax may not be the best of the best?

Not reading but having the experience. After I do a iron x, clay, polish & wax treatment, after a week or so my car's trashed, as if I never did any of that one time lol. My guesses were maybe that the detailer wasn't good enough, the wax is too soft for my environment or maybe there's something in my water I don't know lol. I was just hoping that the Finish Kare 425 will behave good with the Collinite. They seem like two top notch products.
 
I didn't gather that from the reviews those products got. Suggest something better for me. I'll consider just about anything lol.
 
Mothers metal and billet polish are worthy. The rest of the line I don't care for. HOWEVER the apc is good.

-I also use, and recommend, Finish Kare
and Collinite products. {Luv 'em to death!!}

Just ordered some Finish Kare 425 and will try it out in a few days; Will get the collinite in a few weeks and try that out as well :)
