Need Polish Between Menz FG400 & SF4500

As said before. If FG is handled properly, you should and could finish out with SF4000. FG400 was designed to be used as a two step punch. If you want a intermediate polish look at: Sonax Perfect finish, Sonax Nano polish or Menzerna PF2300, PF2400, PF2500 or FF3000.

Sonax PF or Menzerna PF2400 is my favourites, and of these two I reach for Sonax 19 times of 20.

Another approach to ensure that FG400 finishes well, is to consider using a less aggressive pad and lower speeds.

I used FG400 on a Rupes yellow pad on my LHR12E Duetto. The finish was pretty much 90% LSP ready after six passes. I did follow up with HD Polish just to give it the extra gloss.
