need product advice

ok well i just ordered Griots Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher along with Dual Action Deluxe CCS Foam Pad Kit, all from this website. Figured that was a good kit to get me going? Well now i need to know which products to buy and which order. I just got a 2008 mustang gt (candy red) a few weeks ago and im really trying to get her looking best i can. What i want to do is wash, clay bar, polish?, then wax? not sure if im missing something or if thats even the best order, but from everything ive read i think im on the right track. I already have the wash which is Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner, I also have a wax which is Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0. I also purchased a Meguiars SWIRL REMOVER 2.0. After doing more research I think I need to return the swirl remover 2.0 and get something different for polishing? Or should i use this or even use something else along with this? And what clay bar should I get?

Is this in wrong section? Just trying to get some advice on what to get and use before my gg da and pads get here, which is hopefully before this weekend so I can do it then
 
You are definitely on the right track.
Your soap is fine, your wax is fine and polish is fine. Clay is clay and you only need to choose what aggressiveness you need. However, most OTC clays are fine grade. I could be wrong but I have not seen any other grades being sold OTC.

What product you use will really depend on your paint system and the type of defects you are trying to remove. It's kind of like going to the doctor. They can only prescribe medicine to you only when they have analyzed the symptoms and your overall health.
