Dont know whether to put this thread here, in Auto Detailing 101, or maybe it belongs somewhere else. I need a few products recommendations:

  1. All purpose cleaner, mostly to clean dashboards, center consoles, wipe down leather interior and leather seats.
  2. Interior dressing. Looking for something lotion like that I can use on any dashboard and on leather as well.
  3. "Premium" spray wax. I need some wax that I can charge a little extra for, but can be applied quickly.
  4. Leather Cleaner and Conditioner.
  5. Tire Dressing
  6. Pet hair removal tool.
Feed back please:buffing:
Some cool smileys you got on here.

1-Optimum Power Clean
2-Optimum Protectant Plus
3-Optimum Spray wax or Duragloss Aquawax
4-look at #2
5-Opti-bond
6-Pumice stone

And Welcome to AGO!

1. I use Adam's APC, but due to cost will be trying something different when I run out. I have used Meg's APC and don't like the smell or soapy feel and how much it suds, I may try Meg's APC+ which has less foam and has a citrus scent, or Optimum next go around. I really like the Adam's APC and may splurge with it just as a luxury but if I were doing it as a business I would think twice due to cost.

2. I like Meg's Natural Shine, it's not a lotion but it smells good and doesn't have too much shine. Chemical Guys VRP is a "lotion" but I don't know how well that does on leather. Wolfgang vinyl & rubber protectant is nice and has a low shine, but again, not a lotion. More like "milk". 303 is popular here but I don't like the way it smells or looks.

3. I like the XMT 360 spray wax but it's costly. But it feels more like a wax than products like Aquawax which feel more like a detail spray to me. The Optimum spray wax gets good reviews.

4. Again, I use Adam's or Zaino on these but have been thinking of picking up the Wolfgang line to try out.

5. I really like the Blackfire tire gel, and if you want something that is less expensive but looks great and last and will not sling I recommend Poorboy's Bold n' Bright, it's not talked about that much these days but it's a great product. PERL is also nice, it doesn't have as much shine as the first two but is nice and black and seems to last a very long time. PERL also cuts well (mixes with water) so you can get more uses for less money, although your look will be different.

6. No experience here.

Some cool smileys you got on here.

1. Meguiar's APC+ (more cost effective) or Optimum Power Clean
2. 303 Aerospace Protestant
3. Optimum Spray Wax
4. I'm still trying to find one also. I've tried a couple but none that I really LOVE yet
5. Opti-Bond
6. Rubber gloves are the best thing I have right now but I hear good thing about a pet hair stone?
