Hey guys,

I need a recommendation on a good AIO for a car we are getting ready to be appraised for trade in. The car isn't really bad but has some swirls and a few rids. I am not looking for perfect here, just good enough to enhance the look. I have never used an AIO before so I am open to your opinions.

The car is a 2006 Ford Fusion with Metalic Silver paint.

Thanks for the input guys.

Polyseal... with opt polish 2 added to it like 30%P2 and 70%poliseal :) then let em know how it works out for ya im waiting to try this myself :)

klasse isn't going to correct, just chemically clean. I'd vote for poliseal.

Poliseal. Great value, decent correction, decent protection, and ease of use(often no buffing, or very easy wipe off).

Poli-seal looks promising. I was also leaning toward the Poorboys products. Of the two which do you think would be the best choice?

Remember this is not going to be living with me for long.. either going to sell the car or trade her in.

Xmt360 if you are looking to get rid of the swirls, 40% correction one step, while polyseal alone will do about 25%-30% without polish 2 added

Poorboys PWS and PWC are chemical paint cleaners / no abrasive to take care of swirls. While I love Poorboys products, I'd reach for XMT360 in your situation.

If you were doing a 2-step, I'd say Poorboy's SSR2 topped with EX-P

Poliseal will do the most correction. Klasse can correct a little, but only when used with a cutting pad, not worth the time. I don't know who thinks xmt360 cuts better than poliseal, but it doesn't. Not to mention poliseal is just an easier product to use.

Poliseal. Cost effective and works. what about glazes. Since your selling it why spend the time correcting. Just a thought.

how about D151?
it is potent at correcting swirls for an AIO...
ADS sells 32oz of that for $15 or a 12oz sampler for 6.99...

You might wanna try further testing if you honesty think polyseal cuts more then xmt360, anyone that has tested these products doing a 50/50 on different cars would agree 360 cuts better. It's so easily noticeable customers can tell the difference between the 2 sides.

I'm really not trying to argue or be difficult. I used XMT360 for a couple years and it is a good product, but since I've started using Poliseal I can say with confidence that it cuts better, may not be much, but it is better IMO.

As with testing there are a ton of variables, and possibly the cars I tested these 50/50's on might of just worked better with 360 abrasives, I go through gallons of polyseal as I really love this products more then any other aio I've used, but when he was asking about cutting ability I felt 360 has an edge because of the cars I've taped off and tried them side by side. But this was on darker colors and older vehicles so who knows the results on every vehicles surface, like I said so many variables.

If you're looking for an inexpensive AIO you may be able to find locally, then I'd recommend Meguiar's ColorX. It will clean up the paint and improve the look of the car, which at this point is all you're after.
