Need some advice RV detailing

Like promised, just washed it for the FIRST time since The end of April( I was doing an extreme test on fk1000p durability). It had 6 months of caked on grime and dirt. Was stored outside 24/7 UNCOVERED in the Arizona heat and sun.

These pics are the side with the door, it received only ONE coat of fk1000p. Some spots has minor oxidation, but over all still shiny.

This is the front, the trailer is parked where the front faces east, so it gets all the morning sun. Has minor oxidation, but overall still nice and shiny.

This is the other side of the trailer, this side received TWO coats of fk1000p 12 hours apart. It looks like two coats made a good difference, it has alot less oxidation then the side with only one coat.

Last is the back, it faces West and gets all the evening sun(the worst in az), it aswell has minor oxidation. On the right in the picture where it's really shiny, DG 501 was applied via GG6 DA with a buff&shine yellow pad on speed 6 with 3-4 quick section passes. I did this right before taking the pics to see if 501 would remove the minor oxidation. It did a wonderful job. You can see where it's oxidized in the pic on the left.

The pics do the justice, for 6months I didn't touch the thing. It had so much grime and dirt that it looked badly oxidized. Fk1000p, lived to its name. It's an amazing sealant that is overlooked often.

(I need to make a thread about fk, reading over my post I just realized I made a write up about fk1000p lol)

If you have any questions, lemme know.

Great!
I'm gonna have to get some 67 and try it on mine in the spring! Too lazy this time of year:(

Do you think for sake of speed/time, would it be good to snag a cheap circular and do it opposed to a PC? I'll have a 3401 by the time I do it in spring, but just thinking it will take forever!
Any advice there guys?

If your going to get the 3401, save your money on other equipment. It will do it just fine. I have the 3401 and once I got the #67 it went really fast. Just order the #67 before you are ready so you have it when you are ready to start.

AG didn't have it but they need to bring it back as it is great. I got mine at Amazon $19 vs locally $39.

Use the 3401, you'll get a swirl free finish. The flex has plenty of power, use use Meg's 67 or if it's. And if bad enough 91. I was reading on the rotary from HF and heard they have problems holding a constant speed.

Jomax, how are you uploading such large pics?

I take them with my phone or camera then download to my computer, then when I try to upload them to AG they tell me that they failed until I resize them smaller.

What's up? I guess I have size envy!!:):):laughing::laughing:

On the last set I kept trying to resize, but this is as large as AG would allow me.

Size envy LMAO ;). I use photobucket mobile on my iPhone, I take a photo with my iPhone, open photobucket mobile, inside you can choose your pics from your iPhone album. You upload them to photobucket, then copy and paste the image link. I do all this in about a min. I don't go threw AG.
