I've had this logo for about a month and came back to it tonight.

I like it, but I don't want to use the "mustang" as the car's outline. I want it to be more generic.
Then again, I'm thinking about ditching the idea al together and just using some nice text with an oval around the text. Or something of this nature.

The only thing I'm really after is something that's neat and smooth. Something that can be used on flyers, small enough to go on business cars, vinyl stickers for car windows, webpage, etc. etc.

I liked that, actually. Creative, simple, eye catching...
but I guess I can see why you don't want to make it a Mustang...couldn't you make it a truck? That is more generic.???

I think it looks nostalgic, like it's an older logo from a business way back when. Was that your intention? I think the word "Hart's" is what made me think that.

It is Hart's, isn't is?

I thing it's good and I do think it would be better with a more generic car. The black, red and white colors are classic.

well said! i agree.

Well Hart's is obvioulsy the last name. I want red for the eye catching appeal. Also, when thinking of "Hart's" you subconsciously think red, which is related to a heart.

Anyone have any other ideas? Or should I just keep this and make it into a more generic vehicle?

dengood, you just edited that post!

I'm just quicker than you! I edited as soon as I saw I messed up;)

The logo looks classic and looks good!

I like the car logo. Maybe a more generic looking car, just take off the mustangish lines. I also like what Abrcrobie did.

This just came to my mind. Which name do you think is better?

1.) Hart's Auto Detailing or
2.) Dayton Auto Detailing or Dayton Detail, etc. (Dayton, OH is where I'm from)

I kind of like the second one because it incorporates the entire area. This way if someone sees the name or something they know at least it's local, etc. etc. And as far as a logo, maybe some nice design with two "D"s. And Dayton Detail below or something. Idk, lol

I think they are all good, but I think using your last name is best. It is you, so it should be your name!:) :applause:
