So my aunt wants her car's paint buffed out some. I'm not charging her, but she will be buying the supplies. I will be working under a popup tent outside, so I don't think the sun will be a big deal..

What I want to know is if anyone has had any expierence with this paint? Is the paint hard, soft, which products work best etc. Also any suggestions on how to top it? Sealant? She doesn't hand wash, so something that will last. I don't really want to coat it neither in fear of it not bonding right etc. I don't want to do it twice...

What I used on my f250 was poorboys SSR lineup, but again wondering if something would accel since the car will be shaded...

I've been using Sonax polishes on soft paint with great success. You may also want to check out Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant. Easy to use and buff off and lasts a pretty long time. Sonax Netshield is also a wonderful product that is as easy as it gets to apply and lasts for what seems like forever.

Anthony,

Since your truck came out so nice, why not use the same Poorboy's World products on the Honda?

After polishing treat it with a nice sealant for superb protection and shine...:props:

I actually polished my 05 nighthawk black accord. The paint was very soft. I was able to get an almost perfect finish with just chemical guys v38 on a white pad and orange pad with v36 for bad areas.

Like said, Honda paint is generally pretty soft. I got decent results with megs finishing wax on a microfiber finishing disc on this black accord.

Okay fellas, its a red honda.. I don't know the color name its a darker red. It just has normal wash swirls.

I guess poorboys SSR1 on a white pad? Maybe an orange? Obviously if the SSR1 doesn't work, I'll go to SSR2.

Which sealant? The twins? Or another option Bobby...?
