So Saturday I was told I'm being kicked out of my current building and unfortunately I had no formal lease agreement so I can't fight it... We have until the end of the month and I'm rushing around to find a new space, but everything is a bit expensive for me and I need to do something to afford a nicer location with more space. Here are the options I have come up with... get a dealership contract (they pay $125 per car avg. And 30 cars per month avg) which will allow me to afford an employee and a new space after taxes if I retain my current clientelle, find a way to vastly increase business, or go mobile... what do you guys think?

I would get the dealer contract. Although it might be less money it is steady business and eventually you can increase non dealership sales.

It is a tough decision but it it is your decision thatbyounhave to live with.

I'm doing mobile right now at a dealership body shop and the fall temps just plain suck. I'd say if you can get a space, get in there and hammer away. Your deal there may only last as long as the current manager, so consider it short term and get on it full throttle. Sales may slow a bit this time of year, but body shop work (depending upon foul weather) may take off. There are several depts at most dealerships that need detailers/polishers and that doesn't even take the employees into account.
