Ok I was looking at my grandma's '12 Cadillac SRX and in the front left wheel well there is tar. Mostly just on the dark part inside the well but some is on the paint where the fender meets the inside of the wheel well. Idk how long it's been on there.

I just tried Krud Kutter and didn't do much. Any tar remover recommendations? Preferably something I can buy at Autozone, Oreilly's, Walmart, etc. I want it by saturday.

Stoners Tarminator works great, just make sure you follow the instructions. I found it at Autozone and Krogers

Won't lacquer thinner or wd40 harm the clear coat or paint? Will either of those work on paint transfers too? She hit something blue with her side mirror and there's a bit of paint transfer.

Yes sir not sure about wd 40 never tried it.Lacquer thinner is safe on clear coat. You always have to use discretion on thinner, don't recommend on single stage and painted pinstripes and don't apply on plastics.Gasoline also melts tar, quicker than thinner again use common sense.

WD 40 works great. The petroleum based product will help release the oil in the tar

Ok WD40 worked great on the tar. Didn't do #### to the paint transfer.
