Needing input on- All in One-

Thanks y'all for responding.So far looks like HD SPEED got the most votes.I'II check that out and the others...
 
HD speed is a great easy to use product that is very price reasonable. Prima amigo is good as well its not the new kid on the block or flavor of the month whatever term you want. I wouldn't be afraid to try the Wolfgang uber all in one or the menzerna 3 in 1.

:iagree: prima amigo is great,I just ordered a bottle.
 
Give Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, and/or Meguiar's 205. both work great! have the right pad, and machine and you're set!

Neither of those products would be considered and All-in-One (AIO)


In my opinion, Examples of Meguiar's AIO's include:

D151- Paint Reconditioning Creme

White Wax

Mirror Finish Bright Polishing Wax (NEW)

DA Microfiber Finishing Wax (if used with a MF pad)

Mirror Glaze #80
 
From my experience, Vettes have hard paint. Rather than an All In One, maybe look at Meguiars M205 on a Megs MF Finishing pad. This combo can actually cut and finish down well, especially on a PC. Then top with a quality sealant. CarPro Relaod and Hydr02 are my favorites. You could even step up and apply a coating like Optimum Gloss Coat or CQuartz Classic. They are very easy to apply.

Topped with Poxy. Took me about 4 hours including washing, tires and quick interior dressing.

HD products just plain work and they represent one of the best values cost wise to a hobbyist, weekend warrior or a pro.



Same Camaro, months later, not washed much or topped off with any quick waxes, spray etc. Out in Florida summer sun and rain 24/7.

Don't take my comments below the wrong way AGO, but:

That's not "blown", when their is dirt between the product and it rains that's they way it looks.

I put Polish Angel Viking Coat on my Rogue last weekend, it's beads were solid the next morning when we had a heavy dew. Well as I write this a week later my Rogue is dirty and the water is laying flat much like that picture and it's raining right now.

It doesn't look like this right now, that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure when I took that pic of the Camaro since he had been away at college and it hadn't been washed but maybe once in two months and that's probably a stretch. All those factors must be taken into consideration when talking about durability. In my opinion this is a real world test and a testament to the durability of the Speed/Poxy Combo. As the average car owner is not an Autogeek and doesn't wash, wax, detail spray etc on a regular basis I personally think this is a more realistic test of durability.

Like I said, not being defensive, just referring to my observations. We AG'ers are the 1 percenters of car care. So I like to try to use real world cases when referring to products and their durability etc. I don't baby my daily driver either so it's a good test bed for durability of products.
 
I just jumped outside in the rain to take this, as you can see, the rain is laying flat. Yet it's only been a week since I applied PA Viking Coat. Clearly this is not due to product failure, but contaminants on the paint. For the record, I am not of the school that beading indicates protection or lack of, or that degradation of beading is an indication of over all loss of protection.

hd speed and hd poxy.......I like these products they both are 2n1 speed is a polish n wax and poxy is a wax n sealant I use both on my stang for the winter here in Toronto,after doing the stang with these products I stopped by 3d to show them and they were impressed with the gloss and slickness...check out 3dproductscanada facebook stroll down the page to my stang...have fun keep detailing..AUTO ONE DETAILING...on facebook
 
HD Speed but custom mix
For a medium cut version you can buy bottle of hd poxy and 3d Adapt aka Speed Adapt
For heavy cut hd poxy mixed with hd cut aka Speed Cut

Pretty sure it was 75 percent polish 25 percent poxy ratio
 
If you want a great AIO then look no further then Duragloss. 101, 501, 105 , are all great A finish coat of DG 111 or Colinite 476, or 845 is iceing on the cake.

I came to recommend XMT 360 or D151.
 
I was thinking about using Optimum GPS.But,with all the praise about HD Speed I'm having 2nd thoughts.And at some point I'II have to try XMT360...Thanks for all the suggestions.

Larry, I've used dg 501 in that application, but don't get the correction something like Megs M66 will give me. How do you like it? Are you able to get correction out of it?

I like 101 a lot. I actually got requests for it over the summer, based on the reaction my Dad's friends had to his car. It's been holding up very well too.
