Being in your office on a Saturday with windows showing how beautiful it was all day:(

LOL But you're the boss man now. Can't you go out and hit the beach and come back later in the day and leave all the real work to the grunts?? :p

First two years will be the hardest .... then you will have time to play. Sacrifice for the greater cause.

You know I did this only to find out that now I'm middle aged and all used up. I can't hardly walk down the hall and open the door to see what's on the other side of the windows. The last year hasn't been good to me. Don't forget to stop every once in a while and smell the roses.

I just had a great example of what I'm trying to say. I have two 2006 Honda Rubicon 4 wheelers in my garage. I've had them for over a year. The one with the most miles on it has 17 miles. Most of those from plowing snow. When you continuously put the dream in front of yourself you never have a chance to live it.

I'm only 26 (27 in a few days) and I really want to figure out way to stop looking out the window at the nice weather and get outside in it doing what I want. I'm even worse off that you though... at least you have your own biz. I'm still working for the man.

I don't detail professionally. My business has been in marketing consulting and in real estate investment. I lucked out buying property cheap almost 20 years ago. I am a part owner of a small engine repair shop but have ended up in a situation where for lack of a better description would be considered semi retired due to medical reasons. It's one of those things you never think will happen to you and then you wake one morning and it's like what the heck happened. I'm fortunate in the sense that I was able to put enough money away that I'm neither destitute or forced to do something that further aggravates my condition but I wouldn't wish medical problems on anyone.

My whole point here is exactly what Killr had said. Many of us work our tails off looking forward to the day we can retire/enjoy it and then someone throws a wrench in the fan. You can't plan every detail in life, make sure you enjoy the important moments and don't let them get away. Particularly where your family is involved. You never know if you'll be one of those people who can't enjoy them down the road.

I mentioned the 4 wheelers not to imply that I don't have the time to ride them. I've got all day long. I just physically can't do it with out laying in bed for three days to recover from a very simple ride.
