I am thinking of adding leather repair to my list of services. Trying to find someone to practice with right now. I watched several videos and it's not hard to do... the main difficulty is doing the color matching of the dye. It's very similar to bodywork: Clean perfectly, fill in the defect (crack, tear, hole, etc) with bondo like product designed for leather repair, let dry, sand, clean, dye. Before I can add it to my menu I need to find suppliers for the dyes and fillers and I want to practice but I think this could be a very lucrative service to offer.
