Got my new Jeep in about a week and a half ago. Finally got a chance due to nice weather to put some sealant on the paint to get it through winter. I didn't get a chance to get many pics because I got started late. Maybe in the Spring though because even though the dealer didn't do any washing or anything per my instructions there are a few spots with some fine scratches that will need to be polished out when it warms up.

Basically it got a full wash with BTBM + Dawn to strip anything left on the paint (there was weird junk leftover when I washed it the first time last week). Then I hit the paint and the wheels with WG Deep Gloss Spritz which I just got off the BOGO. Wow that stuff is really easy to use, I like it a lot. The interior plastic/"soft touch" areas were sealed with Ultima IGP, the exterior trim (fenders, running boards, bumpers) with 303.

The tires were finished with Pinnacle tire gel (not pictured). I tried to use some of the Tyromania I have left but after trying to use it on the rear mounted spare, I gave up and cracked open my new bottle of the Pinnacle stuff. Tyromania is just a royal pain to use on ribbed sidewalls and the ones on the Jeep just made it really frustrating.

On to the pics Im the MAN First pic is to show that yes this is a green Jeep. It's "black forest green pearlcoat" so it changes color depending on angle and is a very very dark green that will look black depending on the light.

Here's a front shot. Notice how the Jeep now looks black................

Thanks lol. Yeah I get two colors in one with this color. Green and black. Most of the time it just looks black except the sun hitting rounded edges, but hopefully the summer sun will bring more of the green out.

Ack, well I may be able to add some new before/afters to this thread. I was out checking out stuff in my fairly dark garage using my very bright maglite and I noticed the all of the windows are severely water spotted. believe this is from last weekend when we sprayed our Jeeps off after a trip to the mud/snow on the fire roads. Guess I should have known better but too late now. Going to have to pick up some vinegar and try a 50/50 mix. If that doesn't work I guess clay or some WG TSR on an orange pad (REALLY don't want to have to go that far though).

Very nice!

I am a mopar guy at heart, and I do love me some Jeep.
