New 4" and 6" Backing Plates for Flex 3401

Forgive me please if this has been asked elsewhere, but will the meguiars 5" MF system work on these backing plates? I thought I saw somewhere that it was not recommended but I can't find it now.

The 4" would be to small, the 6" would be too big...


There's a 4 3/8" backing plate here that would work,
