This is a terrific forum. I restore vintage Japanese motorcycles, mainly focusing on Yamahas. Original finish is everything. I have been a dedicated Meguiars user for years and am always looking to improve my data, techniques, knowledge and finishes! I have lurked for a while and find this forum very helpful with a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for having me. And yes, I do own a car or two that can benefit as well. :)

Welcome to Autogeek Online! :welcome:

I would consider restoring original and antique paints one of my specialties as well as favorite things to do in life.

Along time ago I owned a 1968 Yamaha 90 Motorcycle, never looked this good but this was the bike as I remember it, same color of blue.

Looking forward to some of the cool bikes you work on.

:welcome: . Im a big Yamaha fan as well. I bought a 99 R6 when it came out and it was the best bike I ever owned. I too will look forward to seeing some pics in the future. :Picture:

I think that's a "Twin Jet 100".

I had a 1965 Yamaha Trail Master 80 as my first dirt bike.

Managed to go through quite a few dirt bikes over the years, including Yamahas, Bultacos, and Hondas. We lost our dirt riding areas back in the 70's and it's been the streets since then.

I still have this 1985 Honda CB650SC Night Hawk that I bought new.

That 85 Honda CB650 Night Hawk is a nice ride. I really love the way those ride. I am not much on the Sport street rides of new. They are very uncomfortable to ride very far. Is your Honda still in the shape of the picture? Nice Charles!

Thanks.
The picture is probably about three years old, but the bike still looks the same. Almost like a new one.

Yamasarus: My apologies for hi-jacking your thread.

Okay, here are a few. I am really into the 1975 and older 650 Yamahas. The black one is a Yamaha 3 cylinder--1979. All three of these bikes have original paint. The gold is 1971, the red is 1972. I use Meguiars Gold and regularly get asked who did the paint.
I hope these pictures come out okay. My first attempt at resizing.
