New Business Card Design

I assume the qr code takes you to the website? I like it!
 
Actually it doesnt link you to my website. It creates a contact card automatically for them so they have my information saved right to there phone without the hassle of manually plugging it in. It contains my full name, business name, phone number, email, and website url.
 
I really like the QR code! What did you use to make it?
 
I actually like it even better now. Thats a really cool idea. In case you havent tried it (i'm sure you probably have) it works. I read with my droid and pulled everything right up.
 
Yeah made sure it worked before posting :) But I just used a QR Code Generator online then photoshopped so the coloring goes with the card design. Thought it would add a little something to my card and then people can easily store my info into their phone. I know that I always lose business cards so now it doesn't really matter as long as they scan it.
 
Have one perma mounted where you do the cars. That way people can scan if they want and not just take your cards.
 
That is a great idea. I would surely use it except that my ghetto blackberry won't read it.
 
From a design standpoint the blue "d" that contains the "e" doesn't look like a "d". Took me a second to figure out that oh thats a D with a E in it for Elegent Detailing. If you put the little line on the bottom right of the D that makes it a D think it would pop more and make more sense to people.

*edit*Like everything spec the code other then that. The cards nice its not too much simple and elegant like your name.
 
As long as you have a QR code reader app on your phone it can read the code. My old BlackBerry had one built in.

I think the d is a cool design. It took a minute for me to realize it also but once you see it, its one of those oh cool its a d and an e together.
 
About to place an order for 500. Any changes need to be made you think?
 
I would say go for it. Just make sure you get a good weight card. The cheaper ones are just that cheap.
