Starting to build out the marketing material for detailing on the side. Mostly working weekends but I wanted get some cards made up to hand out. I wanted something simple and clean with crisp edges. Colors are subject to change...still haven't finalized the colors yet. Thoughts on what I have so far?

Love it. The sparkle effect is terrific. :props:

Thanks guys for the feedback. I think I am going to change the colors but the overall design is going to be what I have currently. Once I get the colors finalized, then its on to business cards and a website.

Reduce the size of "DETAILING & PAINT CORRECTION" so that it doesn't feel so jammed inside that lower container. It will create a better hierarchy of information and make the name of the company stand out more.

Otherwise, I'm thrilled to not see another swoopy silhouette of a car stock vector image. Nicely done.

Color is personal. Make it personal to you, and it will be your own brand.

Good recommendation, I like it! Definitely makes the name pop like you said. I when through about 5 iterations of logos last night and this was the one I settled on. Having a second/fresh set of eyes is always helpful. Thank you!

No problem. I do THAT for a living, so I know how it can help to some experience looking over your shoulder once in a while.

me too. I don't see any pictures of the logo. Invisible business cards, patent pending! Oops, just revisited, and there it was. Its a miracle of modern science!

Looked like his web server was offline for a bit, but seems to be back up now.

now that I figured out what the logo is...

the kerning in "ALFRED" is way too tight. And I'd make more definition between ALFRED and AUTO SPA by making the lower line a lighter weight (or making ALFRED more bold).

I'm also not a fan of the arrows fanning out. Maybe if they were wider and fewer and didn't stick out so far.

The top star looks like it's sitting out all by itself since it's farther away from ALFRED than the lower star is from CORRECTION.

And I agree that the bottom text is slightly too large. Whereas, the text in the upper section should be slightly larger.

Otherwise, it's a good starting point.

Ok...round 2. Thank you everyone for the feedback. I've made some minor tweaks and I think its getting there. The new colors pop a little more. I am sure there will be more tweaks more before calling it "done", but overall I am happy.

Very cool. Love the Maine silhouette on the top.

Nice job. :)

Everyone is going to have a different opinion... But I prefer the 2nd iteration in this thread. In fact, I really like it.

I don't like the "Maine" silhouette.

There was too much white space at the top and I didn't want to add in another star like I had in the original design. It was a quick idea I came up with, but I may swap it out with something car related. I haven't had a chance to really spend the time on a good car related graphic that will fit the logo. My primary job has me working about 12 hours a day to meet deadlines which will hopefully slow down soon.

I am glad you like that second iteration. It means I am on the right track overall, just some minor tweaks needed. :props::props::props:
