Well, finally decided to join the forums here. I have been browsing through Autogeek for some time and made a few orders. I just purchased over $200 worth of polishing supplied for my car, a Red 2003 Mustang V6. I have the best GF in the world who is buying me a PC 7427XP for Christmas :props:

So, glad to be here and hopefully I can learn alot of stuff from everyone.

Your GF is buying your buffer! Dang! She's a keeper. Welcome to AG.

My GF also bought me something from AG for Christmas. I don't know what it is, I only know that the box is big! :D

why do you have hood pins on your mustang??? i thought it was only a V6?

Ohhh ya, because all V6s are slow right? :bash:

I have a Cobra front bumper. The 03/04 Cobra bumpers do not fit right under my hood style and therefore the hood had to be lifted about half an inch for clearance. This caused a vibration issue when going at highway speeds, so I added the pins for extra insurance from the latch failing.

:wow::confused::dunno: I put hood pins on my car (not a V6) not to guard against hood latch failure (as todays latches are much more reliable than they were in the late 60's and 70's) but because I like the classic look of them...

I put hood pins on my car too, it was barely a few weeks old. Scary day w/ the drill:

You have sheep in your car! Might want to get that checked out :D

I just went from the bottom through the hood as to not damage the paint from the drill slipping. The hood was vibrating a good bit after I raised it due to the bumper, hence why I added the pins hehe.

Welcome to the board! :xyxthumbs:

Yes I do! They are actually murano long wool sheepskin pelts we bought in Jackson Hole from a furrier. (They are sooooo soft:xyxthumbs:)

I drilled mine the same way. I put mine on for no other reason than I like they way they look:dblthumb2:
