So my gf just bought a new car today, of course it had to be black, even though I told her there's a reason my DD isn't black.

Told the dealer not to wash it so we could avoid as much DISO as possible. There are some very light swirls here and there and a few spots that looked like someone rubbed up against the car. So those will get buffed out at some point. I didn't clay since contamination was light at this point.

Products:
CG CWG
Griots rubber cleaner
CG Diablo 4:1
303
1Z cockpit premium
Megs glass cleaner

Looks great! I love opti-seal- so easy to apply and leaves a ridiculous gloss. Very durable as well.

Nice those new darts are way better than the neons ever could be. Whats your wash technique? If you have the right tools should stay looking good for a long time

For this: foam gun, two bucket, shmitt and guzzlers to dry

I do a lot of ONR and ONRWW on my car, so this will probably get the same. For her getting a black car I'm making her buy me a MasterBlaster Sidekick. I figure the less I touch the paint the better.

Nice! Dodge put on a event at my local mall, and I was able to test drive a manual Rallye version. Felt like a well built car.

They should be coming out with the SRT version pretty soon- although im not going to buy one im interested to see what they come up with.

Nice lookin black car, at least you'll get a Metro sidekick for your troubles:dblthumb2:

I'm fairly new.. but what interior pieces do you use the 303 and 1Z cockpit premium on?

Sorry I didn't break it down. I used the 1z on the whole interior since everything is plastic. 303 was for all exterior plastics.

303 works well on interior plastics as well I just usually use something that leaves a pleasant scent behind.

Manual shift? I like your girl friend already! Nice ride.

The Dart IS a great looking car, inside and out and the SRT will show up, sooner or later is said to have 300 hp, we'll see about that! What a replacement for the car where a Durango and Vibe hooked up and produced an offspring called the Caliber.

The touch screen in the Darts are huge-inormous!

It's for us old farts that used to have the original Darts, makes it easier to see!
('63, 225 slant 6, pushbutton shift on the left side of the dash, burn your butt vinyl seats, 4 door all wrapped up with a poop brown exterior!)
I'd still like to drive one, maybe wait a year or two for the aftermarket companies to get stuff ready to bolt on, AWD would be awesome!
