New Car Detail

I've seen a thread about this somewhere on this forum and can't find it, so I'll ask. I'm buying a new Nissan Altima and am worried the paint will be damaged while the detail? it for delivery. Should I tell them NOT to was it and just spray off the dust and hand dry, not send it through the car wash with the dreaded spin things.

What should I expect when I'm ready to detail, any prep I need to be aware of out of the ordinary? Thanks for the help. Ken

If you can I would tell them not to touch and that you will do it your self. The car will most likely have swirls on it already from when they had wash before you bought it.

Thanks much for the info.. That's exactly what I'm going to do... Saw a horror movie yesterday watching the dealership washing a car for delivery.... Not a pretty site

I dont know about others feel about this but I would tell them to do the interior but not do the exterior.
